Exchange deposit addresses don't track Runes. Anything sent there is lost.
Runes are public
Bitcoin is transparent. Anyone can see which address holds what.
Where supply is held
Each Rune's supply sits in one public reserve address and is released only against a verified burn.

The rule.

A Rune in circulation counts only if it traces to a real RUNEFORGE burn of the same amount, sent to the address that burner chose, and claimed once. Rebuild the set from both chains and you'll reach the same result.
